Hi, my name is Janice Hall, and I am an opera singer in transition. For most of my life, I have been fascinated by different styles of music, and singers from all over the world. After many years on the opera stage, I am trying to turn another part of my life's dream into reality.

I began exploring the world of cabaret about 2 years ago, and the feedback I have received has led me to believe that this is something I can do. I recently was one of the five finalists in a competition for cabaret singers in New York; this experience has generated some interest in my talents and my work, and I feel that now is the perfect time to launch my solo show.

My show is based on the music sung by the legendary actress and chanteuse, Marlene Dietrich.
It includes many different musical styles, including songs from the Weimar cabaret era, jazz standards, folk songs, anitwar songs, French chansons, and, of course Dietrich's famous film songs.

I am responsible for all expenses incurred in putting on this show, and if I can have your help to offset some of that expense, I would be very grateful.
