Successful Funding and Next Steps
Wow, I am awed by the support and success of this project. This has been the first thing I've brought to market entirely under my own steam and it's been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. But, enough gushing already.
I am scrambling a bit to get an official order page setup to process continues orders, but please in the meantime:
All NEW Pre-orders --> www.Limb.al
Each limb.al (both iPhone and Android): $19/each
US shipping: $4 / International shipping: $7.
CURRENT orders: wait for the survey coming soon.
I will continue to input the info into my system to make sure I am sufficiently meeting demand.
Thank you,
Bill

@stjin - this is not a decision by the android platform, but from a few separate Internationale standards committees. Apple chooses to ignore standards instead of participating to enhance them.

Is there a way to switch from android to Iphone?
Creator Stijn on August 3, 2012
Not to be an apple fanboy, but in 9 years apple had 1 connector: the 30-pin. Android started with the mini-usb like connector (rectangle with one corner cut off), then mini-usb, then micro-usb. I don't really see how this is better? Also: usb doesn't give you as much functionality as the apple connector (video-out, serial connectivity, etc)

i agree its better for an industry standard however the iphone plugs seem like they would have more stability holding up the phone because theres just more surface area to work with. Then again they say the new iphone plugs will be smaller.
Creator Stephen Holinaty on July 4, 2012
any word on how things are going?
Creator Johnny Rowe on July 3, 2012
Happy Times being an Android user here.
Creator Hemanth Grandhige on June 30, 2012
another good reason to use an android. Industry standards are always the better bet over proprietary ...
Creator Gene L on June 29, 2012
hope there is an adapter or something, or this great product will be obsolete with the new pin config on 5.
Creator Stijn on June 28, 2012
Any timeframe on when the surveys will be sent out?
Creator John on June 25, 2012
Hi Bill
I understand that the iPhone 5 or The New IPhone will be released either this fall or just after
Please could you let us backers know if you will be rolling out the 19Pin Connector as well as the 30Pin Connector
Or
A completely new Kickstarter Limb.al campaign

Tooling and first production samples are finished and they are in route to me for review. There aren't any pictures yet, so I was holding off until people could see them first. I try not to spam people inboxes over what is essentially a small product that they still won't get for a few months.
Thanks for the continued interest though!
Bill

Dear Mr. May,
do you have any updates for us brackers?
It feels a bit strange that there are updats since several weeks.
Creator Bill May on June 9, 2012
I am still waiting on first production samples, when those come in at the end of the month, I will update on progress. There will also be another update when packaging is completed.
Thanks!
Bill

Will you be updated more now that funding is over? Like which step of the phase you are in? Or when will the products be shipped?
