About this project
PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS
My project is a movie and soundtrack (length15 to 25 min) titled " A SynapTIC Adventure: Tourettes and Beyond". The songs and stories are about growing up/ being different in a physically noticeable way. This movie is both autobiographical and universal. It's about adaptation, determination and collaboration Scenarios will move between the past and present , real and the surreal. comic and challenging.
The
music is a combination of "songs" and "soundscapes" created for this project by me with GUEST artists (some great folks too!) coming on board. The music will be in keeping with my
multi-genre writing styles of
songwriter/jazz/folk/prog-rock/trance/ambient/classical. There will be songs, tales, tangents, trials, triumphs and
some kind of... revelation. Intended to entertain, inform and inspire and have a hell of a lot of fun doing so!!
Technically (ideally), I would like to utilize real-time acting, animation and whatever "modern" tools can best convey what's in my head to the audience. A live show, perhaps a play will come from this project.
ALL MONEY RECEIVED WILL BE used SOLELY for the MAKING and Distribution of THIS project ONLY
from START to FINISH...
STEP 1
I will take approx 2 months to film, edit, record music, and produce the movie and soundtrack.
STEP 2
Manufacturing hard copy and PROMO materials
STEP 3
Screening and promotion of film to festivals, colleges, education centers, Corporations..
etc. : )
AND the SCREENING/RELEASE PARTY for all supporters!!
I AIM TO EXCEED $4000. That amount represents the bare minimum.
$10-$15,000 is my hope as THAT would produce a better product and experience
for ALL. : )
