SYNOPSIS: "When Kelvin Whiles returns from a doomed missionary trip to Africa, he travels to his family’s estate hidden deep in the rural heart of Texas. As the sole survivor, Kelvin suffers from amnesia and hopes to physically recuperate. Soon, he begins to question the remnants of his faith as he assembles the fragmented pieces of his memory. Plagued with nightmarish visions, Kelvin cannot determine if he is reliving repressed memories or if something dark, primal, and sinister is wishing to make itself known. As the African mystery intensifies, Kelvin begins to question whether something has followed him back to Texas, and if so, why?"

PROJECT SUMMARY: The creative impetus behind this project is to illustrate that excellent films, both in terms of production quality, performance and story, can be made on a shoestring budget, and that with the technology available to filmmakers today, the old ways of making and distributing films are just that - old. We wish to demonstrate that lack of budget is not have to mean lack of quality.

Noose is, in a nutshell, an ultra low budget film with ultra high concepts. Because of the low budget and lack of strings attaching the project to investors or studios, the Noose team has free reign to think outside the box and push the creative envelope. The end result will have you creeped out, terrified, and sleeping with the lights on for a bit.

Noose is to be shot over the course of two weeks, and post production will be completed in early 2012. After completion, the film will be entered into film festivals across the United States and Europe, and hopefully will receive wide-spread distribution.

This project is a labour of love and a challenge for everyone involved.. As such we have been able to secure the participation of top quality, professional cast and crew at no cost. The money we raise will be used for everyday expenses of filmmaking: rentals, props, costumes, locations, creating sets, and feeding the cast and crew, and will NOT be used for salaries.

While we have set the funding minimum at $5.000, additional funds are welcome, as they will allow us to make the film with bigger practical FX, and to allow more time for filming.
