The Atomica Project needs your help to release our 3rd album

ABOUT US

Lauren and I have been working together as the Atomica Project for over 5 years. In that time, we've released 2 records, 2 ep's, and done 2 East Coast (U.S.) tours. From day one we've done all of our own recording and mixing, we’ve released our own records, we run our own custom designed store, we fund our own tours, we do our own promotion. We've even done our own video. We're the label, the management, the recording studio, the graphic designers, the songwriters, the tour managers, the bus drivers, and the producers.  We strongly believe that operating independently is the right thing to do and where the music industry is ultimately heading. We’re not looking for a record deal, we’re taking advantage of what’s right in front of us – new opportunities, great fans, and people who love and appreciate music. It’s a very exciting time to be making music - but the DIY approach gets very expensive.

THE GOAL

For our next release, entitled the Non-Affair, we're turning to you for help. We will be releasing the album in early March 2010 as a CD, a 1gb USB/flash drive, and a digital download. In exchange for helping us out, we're offering a variety of rewards - everything from advance signed copies of the CD to a night out with the band. We will once again be doing all of our own recording, paying cello players out of our own pockets – what we always do. Anything we collect from this project will be used for the manufacture and promotion of the album itself. If we exceed our modest goal of $3500, all additional funds will be used to promote the record. Help us make something beautiful!
