Designed by a woman to fit and flatter the diversity of women's figures to Feel Beautiful on a Bike.  The Original My Alibi Bloomers are her little secret to riding in style and comfort.  These high performance padded shorts offer booty protection designed to be worn UNDER your skirts or other active wear to retain your style while riding a bicycle.  Whether you ride to meet your girls for coffee, take the kids to the park, or you like to go on Mountain Biking adventures, the Bloomers will assure you the maximum comfort without succumbing to the Spandex skin-suit.

Since the Bloomers were first released at the Sea Otter Classic in 2007, hundreds of happy customers have been sporting the Bloomers, as their own little secret to pedaling comfort.. under their fashion.  By backing this project you can help us turn that to thousands of inspired women.  

My Alibi Clothing is all about values you can stand behind.  We have searched far and wide for the best fabrics, and factory where social and environmental responsibility go into every decision, while comfort and durability are essential qualities sewn into every piece. 

How do You get involved?

A.  If you don't already have a pair of My Alibi Original Bloomers you can buy them here by pledging.   Your purchase will help us fund the next production and get them in stores in your community!  (Tell your friends!!!)

B.  If you already ride a bike (a lot) you can pledge to buy a high performance "kit" to sport the My Alibi Logo on your rides this summer. Get your girls involved!  (Going on RAGBRAI?  we will have a My Alibi "Kit" Day where you can unite with all your girls to show your support in My Alibi bringing you more amazing styles). 

C.  If you really want to see the next line hit the market you can pledge to purchase a combination of products and/or make a donation that fits your budget by choosing one of the pledge amounts listed on the right.           Spread the word. (up to $10K, sorry no equity investments available here)

D. If you want to support My Alibi Clothing but just can't afford to buy the products you can pledge as little as $1 to show your support AND don't forget to tell all your friends!!!

What does the $25K do?

Until we hit the $25K goal not a penny will be charged.  Once we raise this number we will be able to reorder the Bloomers to get them out in more stores and in front of more women.  Since you don't just see the Bloomers riding around town it is essential that we get the Logo out there so we will also be making more T-shirts, stickers, and the new high performance kits (though our brand philosophy is that you don't need a kit to ride a bike, we know a lot of cyclists are used to wearing spandex for long days in the saddle and we want to offer you the style and comfort too!)

"When will I be able to get the Reversible Skirt (& the rest of the new line)?"

The cost of producing the next 7 pieces is $200K!  WE CAN do that here!  It is just going to take a lot of word of mouth and Screaming from the Rooftops!  This is not a search for equity investors.  I am asking YOU to join the My Alibi Community and support a product with a mission.  A lot of backers working together to bring these products to market.

What do backers get out of pledging?

You can choose what level to pledge and what rewards you want.  Some are simply purchasing products while other levels allow you to choose how much you want to contribute to see My Alibi grow.  Ultimately, you get to be apart of the My Alibi success either by your purchase or beyond.
