Fauntleroy is a musical adaptation of Frances H. Burnett's classic tale "Little Lord Fauntleroy." This updated musical version set in New York City circa 1900, follows seven year old Cedric Errol as he travels to England to meet his distant grandfather, the Earl of Dorincourt. While in England, young Cedric learns the value of family and responsibilities of a social position. This classic tale, told through modern music and stage production, promises to capture the imaginations of theater goers of all ages.

Writer and Director Kathleen Fitzpatrick and songwriter Eric Jacobson have begun to workshop the show in the Greater Los Angeles area garnering positive reviews. They are working to further develop the show and mount a staged production. Their goal is to showcase Fauntleroy over one full weekend in a local theater. 

With the funds raised here, this revised production will enjoy the inclusion of set design, period costuming, complete house band, a full cast, advertising, stage crew, and theater technology. The creators of the show will recast and rehearse for six weeks leading up to the production. 

Kathleen and Eric aim to complete a weekend (or two if funds allow) of productions to attract potential producers, theater groups, and backers, as well as start a buzz around the theater community about this new musical project. 

In the tradition of "Billy Elliot", "Oliver", and "Annie", Fauntleroy will capture the attention of theater goers for years to come with its mix of heartfelt story-telling and memorable songs. Please help this dream become a reality!
