Great project.... so are you still accepting poems for the bomb, or have submissions closed? If still open, what is the snail-mail addy we need? and I'm guessing you are already touring? Is Worcester, MA on your itinerary? Hope so! There's a huge poetry base here. Also have you thought of showing up at the Dodge festival in N.J. or at the Massachusetts Poetry Festival?

Tremendous thanks to every single person who donated and has given words of encouragement, the love is absolutely appreciated and accepted!! The Poetry Bomb itself is almost completed, the tour is 99 per cent booked, the postcards are in the mail, the t shirts are about to begin, the broadsides are almost complete and right now I am finishing up my morning coffee, the sky is electric with the weather, my wife is watching an old cowboy movie starring Sophia Loren and Anthony Quinn, the cat is sitting in her lap digging the action and the Poetry Bomb is happening!!! Thanks again and POETRY BOMBS AWAY!!!! The Poetry Bomb loves you!!

Husband, father, and tall, bald guy with two cats (Ooga Catsooga & Juno The Destroyer), I live, love and work in left of west Los Angeles. Happily married to my very own Jersey girl, Lorraine, a librarian at the Huntington Library and LA Mudperson. Proud father of Spencer who says hello to the world with his wild guitar.

As a poet, publisher and editor pounding away at the process for over 25 years, I worked on staff for underground alt poetry zines Shattersheet, The Moment, and Nuthin' Sacred, then published and edited my own zine (Sic) Vice & Verse with Rafael FJ Alvarado for 9 years. Together we published many writers, photographers and artists including Martin Espada, Sherman Alexie, Risa Mickenberg, Holly Prado, Harry Northup, Tomato du Plenty, Rachel Kusher, Antony Ausgang, Laurel Ann Bogen, Louis Metz, Dave Alvin and Roque Dalton. Co-editor of The Outlaw Bible of American Poetry (Thunder's Mouth, 1999, Firecracker Award). I also co-edited and published Black Ace 8 for Temple of Man in 2007, a tribute to late Venice Beat progenitor Tony Scibella. Black Ace 8 includes work by Diane di Prima, Jack Hirschman, Steve Wilson, David Meltzer, Charles Bukowski, Bob Branaman, Ellyn Maybe, Aya, George Herms, John Macker, Jack Micheline, Aaron White, Saul White and many other fine writers and artists.

I've toured the U.S. and Canada with poetry performance ensembles The Lost Tribe (1984-1992) in a 1972 Mercury Capri, White Trash Apocalypse (1995-1997) in a 1971 Buick Riviera and The Carma Bums (1989-2009) from behind the wheel of a 1959 Cadillac. Can you tell that I like cars? Lorraine and I were married in my 1960 Caddy Coupe, which we still have. Sadly, all the others are hasta la bye bye. In 1989 I was named best performance poet for The LA Weekly by the great Wanda Coleman.

Very proud to be included in The Golden Anniversary Edition Beatitude edited by Latif Harris and Neeli Cherkovski, my recent books are Harvey Keitel, Harvey Keitel, Harvey Keitel, a collaborative piece with John Dorsey and Scott Wannberg (Butchershop/Rose of Sharon/Temple of Man, 2005), Numbskull Sutra (Rank Stranger Press, 2007) and Greatest Hits (Pudding House, 2008). As the publisher/editor of Rose of Sharon Press I have been honored to publish a long list of poets including A.D. Winans, Charles Bukowski, Todd Moore, Scott Wannberg, David Smith, Pleasant Gehman, Iris Berry, M. Lane Bruner, Doug Knott, Mike Mollett, Ellyn Maybe, Philomene Long, Stuart Z. Perkoff and Tony Scibella. The latest offering from Rose of Sharon is Call by francEyE in 2008.

Lucky to have been a working actor since 1978, beginning my on camera career as one of the bad cowboys in Clint Eastwood's Pale Rider... I am the left handed cowboy.

I happen to make some of the best macaroni and cheese you'll ever put into your mouth, which I learned how to cook by watching my Grandma Elsie work her culinary magic on an old cast iron stove.
