Fun and quirky debut EP of Zip Casey. Songs ranging from heartfelt, to nerdy, and sometimes a bit raunchy, but always a good time.
After entertaining many in the Central Pennsylvania area at Open Mic events, randomly serenading waitresses in late night diners and several other spontaneous performances... I, Zip Casey, am recording my debut EP.
"The Fool I Am" is a collection which showcases several facets of my music. At times a raunchy comedic rocker, I am showing my softer side as well, with songs ranging from the funny "Blackout Genius" and "Fun and Games" to my heartfelt ballad, "The Heart of You".
The project is currently underway and coming together quite well. When I wrote these songs I knew I had started something fun, but working on them in the studio with my producer (Danny Braun) has really pushed them to the next level. I just can't wait to see people's reactions when this all wraps up.
That said, I need help from those people I've entertained throughout the years. This album isn't going to come to completion without the donations of those amazing people who keep me smiling and singing. Funding will cover the costs of production and post-production on the CD, which will not only provide fans with something fun to listen to, but also bring to life a refined version of the music I've had playing in my head every time I perform.
Some of you might not know who I am... I'm a nerdy, music lover who's sometimes sexually frustrated scribblings often turn into amusing music. I'm no pioneer, I'm not trying to change the world. I just think there should be more "fun" music. Music that makes you laugh, music that makes you smile, music that makes you feel understood in this crazy world.

In addition to the backing music towards the end of the video (two of the unfinished tracks were used), if you visit my facebook page (www.facebook.com/ZipCasey), I have a few videos of my music uploaded. They were shot with my smartphone, so the quality isn't astounding. The videos do, however, provide you with a general idea of what the music is like.

Member for life, inspired by a project I saw... This is my debut EP and I plan to do much more with music.
