Blackwater Gulch Buildings by Battle Flag, and a contest!
Hey folks
Things are moving along smoothly, still taking longer than I hoped but we're getting there! I'll have some painted photos of the Bloodwolf Tribe shortly.
In the meantime, I wanted to let everyone know that we've entered into a partnership of sorts with Battle Flag. They have been making laser cut wood buildings for a while, and now will be updating their kits with Blackwater Gulch version of their kits, that will come with signs and other details to fit the game better. One such update is the Blackwater Palace, pictured below. It's a HUGE hotel, it will dominate your board and make for a really great looking centerpiece. They changed around their original hotel kit and give this one a flat roof, perfect for ambushes.
They also just released a brand new kit, La Maison Rouge, the old west bordello, picture is below. As a way of saying thank you to all of you for backing my game, we are going to give away one of these new kits totally free. Battle Flag will send it out to you, no charge for shipping or anything. If you want a shot at winning this new kit, send an email to gangfightgames@gmail.com with your name, mailing address and email address. On Friday July 27th at midnight EST I'll select a winner randomly from everyone that emailed and then forward the winner's info over to Battle Flag. This is a contest for Kickstarter backers only!

The buildings look really great, they're also the same scale as the GameCraft buildings many of you added to your pledges. Mix them all up and you'll have a great looking town with a lot of variety!

As above, and in addition you will a have character in the game world named after you, or you can make up the name of your choice. You may also provide their back story and game stats if you wish, and a new figure will be sculpted in your likeness (if possible). This character will exist in the game's history and fiction and will never die, unless you would like him or her to go down in a blaze of glory. This character will be added to the game as a new product at a later date (after these first 2 sets are made), and is not included as part of this Kickstarter project.

As above, however instead of just one character, you have the option to create an entire gang or faction for the game. You can provide the story/idea/theme for the gang and name the members. This gang will be made as a new box set at a later date, figures will be sculpted based on your ideas and the set will be sold online and in fine game stores worldwide, right along with our other products. The only condition being that your gang should fit with the theme for the rest of the game, reflecting a historical, yet fictional WIld West setting. This gang will be added to the game as a new product at a later date (after these first 2 sets are made), and is not included as part of this Kickstarter project.

The contest is for the new one, La Maison Rouge.. the red building pictured above. The hotel and other buildings are sold by Battle Flag, not us.. so if you want to buy them you can get them here:

Or if you were referring to the buildings from the pledges, those are different ones made by GameCraft. Different styles, but also really nice kits. Those will be chosen randomly when we pack up your order based on what you wanted in your pledge :)

Yes, this week we just got in the huge shipment of GameCraft buildings.. there were a couple hundred so it took them a while to make them all. We also got in all of the dice this week too. In the next couple of days we expect to get our boxes and packaging ironed out if all goes well. Just need to get pricing info from the printer and stuff like that.
