I am in the process of self-publishing a supernatural thriller entitled REMNANT. It's the story of six individuals brought together to protect the last remnant of God on Earth; if they fail, life ceases to exist.

REMNANT is a fast-paced, supernatural thriller, boasting a unique concept and narrative. It will appeal to fans of Stephen King’s flawed protagonists, Dennis Lehane’s suspenseful twists, and Dan Brown’s controversial spiritual/religious themes.

Where the Money is Going

The writing is done, the editing is complete, and now it's time to publish, which is where you come in. I'm seeking funding for the cover design, typesetting, e-book development, and print run for the first 500 copies.

Here's a general breakdown of what it will cost to publish REMNANT:

• Book Design (print and e-book versions) $1,000
• Typesetting and e-Book development $1,500
• ISBN $150
• Initial Print Run (500 copies) $3,500
• Professional Edit $1,000
• Book Webpage and Fees for e-bookstores ($1,000)
  

That totals around $8,150. I'm asking for $5,000 to help offset that expense and taking care of the rest myself. After all, how could I ask you to invest in my dream if I'm not willing to as well?

Note: Every single penny of proceeds made on the sale of REMNANT will be invested in the next print run.

Synopsis

After signing the hottest new act to hit the Atlanta music scene, successful talent agent, Eddie Glasgow, is mysteriously drawn to a small town in rural Georgia. At first glance, Provident seems like a quaint, peaceful place to live. However, when an evil force threatens to take over the town, Eddie finds himself entangled in an epic battle that has waged for more than one thousand years. Along with a group of unlikely companions, including a blind man, an elderly woman, and an orphaned boy, Eddie must uncover the secret that has brought them all together before an ancient evil cuts the delicate threads holding humanity to the last remnant of God.
