I got more than I ever bargained for on this years HC trip. I met old friends and new, shot some amazing climbing, and interviewed the most genuine and interesting people I have had the good fortune to encounter. The experience was more wonderful than I can put into words, and if only a tenth of that comes through in this Doc, we'll have a hit on our hands. I was grappling with what this movie would represent on my way down to WV with my crew and we came back up to Boston knowing exactly what the film and HC stand for; complete acceptance of who you are, no matter who you are. It's a strong message and one that should never be looked over just by the mere fact that you think you're an open minded, accepting person.
We shot what we came to shot and now we must edit. edit long and hard to create the greatest queer rock climbing story ever told.
Climb with pride!
