I am creating a short, animated musical in the vein of stories like Alice in Wonderland and Pan's Labyrinth. Its protagonist is my four-year-old daughter, Lilly, and its shots are inspired by my wife's photography. I composed most of the score though some of the parts are performed by Lilly and her one-year-old brother, Jack. Believe it or not, it sounds great! I am a screenwriter and songwriter and believe you learn how to make films by actually making films. The funds for this project will be used to purchase the Pro version of the animation program I am using (Anime Studio) as well as a drawing pad (which will save me a ton of time) and more memory for my computer. I also need a better version of my audio software programs, my recording equipment and the money for festival submissions. Thank you!
