About this project
Sometimes there are questions that you can't ask Miss Manners. Questions such as; "Can we have both Dwarves and Orcs in our wedding party?", "Is it inappropriate to wear my white fanny pack after Labor Day?", or "Can I break up with him over Twitter? I mean, that's where we met." That's because Miss Manners wouldn't understand. These are nerd problems and you need to ask someone who knows what it's like.
Holly and Sara are those someones. We will offer you sound advice on navigating the choppy waters of modern dorkdom. We are your people, and we know what to do. Let us help you.
A Nerd Of Advice will be a weekly free podcast. We would be exploring how etiquette is changing as more of our lives become entwined with the internet on a daily basis, and offering advice to the less socially savvy of us. We will answer listener questions with the help of special guests. We will be here for you, in nerd solidarity.
We plan to use the money from the Kickstarter to purchase microphones & good headphones, and to pay someone to edit the podcast for us.

Holly is a terrible dilettante whose interests include knitting, cooking, and defending Buffy The Vampire Slayer as a modern classic. She insists on texting in full, grammatically correct sentences. She is also the VP of TopatoCo, which is pretty cool.
Sara McHenry is a cartoonist and crafter from Chicago, IL. She writes and draws the webcomic Hey Pais. Please and thank you.
