Actually Chelsea, that trashcan was given to Natalie. She converted it into a puppet theater.
Ha!
Everyone sign our email list at campwanatachi.com!!
Friend us on facebook!
Let's keep the dialog going!
Huzzah! Congrats team CW! I'm super excited to road trip to NY and see the show in January. Already gathering up some troops who can't wait to see it!
B- Looking forward to your new movie with Friggin' DOOGIE!!!! Remember that RENT trashcan we stole for you? I know you shellacked it and kept it all these years in a place of honor next to the toilet- you probably told Doogie all about it because It was probably the most meaningful gift you have ever received. Shhhh. I know. It's okay. It was nothing, really. No need to thank me. After all, you would steal Jonny Depp's trashca....er...Johnny Depp for me, if given the opportunity, right? RIGHT?!
CONGRATS to the team! You must be thrilled to have reached your new goal! Gave an extra 10 via paypal too *wink*
Good continuation on your project, you must be exited and I'm glad you got rewarded for your work and hoping it will be even more rewarding in the future. Keep us in touch!
Just sent the extra $10, look forward to the link to the tracks (loved what I've heard so far!). So close to $10,000, really hoping you guys reach it! It's a shame I can't come to NY in January, but I hope all the pledges help!
as Emily Latella would say... "Nevermind."
I figured out how to up my pledge, so I did! Good luck to you all, and I hope I can make it out there for the play in Jan! YOU ARE GOING TO GET TO $10K!! Wish I could be a part of the Skype session, but I know I will hear of it in detail from the BAMC crowd in full detail!! Squeee!
So the play will be in Jan of 2011? I would love to come see it, I hope it works out, but either way I am donating. I think I gave, back in May, has that been paid yet? If not then do I just need to up my pledge here in order to give another donation? I'm a bit confused?
LMAO Natalie! Can't stop laughing... What if we don't live in Tasmania *thanks google for telling me where it is (yes I never used to listen during my geography classes...shame)* but with Bedouins in the the desert or in a tent in the middle of Mongolia?LOL NY sounds cool, I've spent like two days there, only had time to visit the Metropolitan Museum! I've always planed to go back to US but hard to tell if I'll be able at the moment! Now I have msn to keep in touch! JK
A bientôt ;) Estelle
Hey guys!
Anyone who already gave who wants to give $10 and get the CAMP WANATACHI EP please send the money to my PayPal Account. The email you send it to is Nats82p@hotmail.com Yes, very old school -- hotmail!
If you already gave and then gave $10 more through KICKSTARTER to get the EP, please let us know by emailing us at campwanatachi@gmail.com. Please put "Gave an additional $10 through Kickstarter" as the subject. This will help us double check and make sure that you get your EP!
Every single one of you is expected to come to NY to see CAMP WANATACHI in January. I don't care if you live in Tasmania. I simply must meet you all.
Best,
Natalie
Mum I wanted to give a little more but same problem as winettemay... I have a paypal account too or if you have an other solution?
Take care ;)
Waw Nice! Almost to the goal! I'll keep sharing the link where ever I can ;)
Awesome! Keep us updated. It will just a bit of a pain to create a whole new account with a new emal address to donate a bit extra - and of course I don't want to edit my original pledge. Thanks Natalie!
Hannah
Thanks Winettemay!
Looking into it.
I got the email and I'd LOVE the EP, but it's a bit awkward to donate another $10 to get it sadly. Say for e.g. I donated $500, and then I wanted to throw another $10 in for the EP (because I do!) well, there's no way to do that, it basically edits your original pledge, rather than add on to your current pledge, it that makes ANY sense. :o) I'd happily paypal it or send it another way though.
Cheers Natalie!
Thanks Beth!!
hello everyone...i'm kinda new here..and through Bridget Regan i'm starting to love CAMP WANATACHI. pretty bad for me coz i can't go to the concert..i'm rom Philippines...pretty far..more power.! to everyone.! and Bridget I love U sooo much i'm a huge fan of yours..!
Natalie, so glad to see someone pursuing LOVE in the face of judgement and inviting discussion. Art is such a wonderful tool and I know in your case, a required outlet. Thanks to you and your crew for sharing your talents. Happy to support. Best wishes!
Here we go! New backer ^^ Sorry I couldn't give much, student and a recent little trip in Monte Carlo I shouldn't be mentioning! LOL Anyway, just to let know to all the team that I find your project really cool, original & nicely presented so I really hope you'll reach your goal and develop the project!
"Off the record : Bridget, my services are not as expensive as yours (just kidding, no need to use Kahlan's daggers on me!) and I might agree to offer you a free guide tour or simply give you advises on what must absolutely be seeing and tasted in my city of adoption, Paris! I'd be humbly glad to fulfill this risky mission!LOL"
I will follow closely the evolution of donations in the next coming days, crossing my fingers!
Bbye ;)
Hello Jim and everyone.
If you would like to discuss the scriptural backing for CAMP WANATACHI, there will be a group discussion at our art instillation JESUS IN OUR LIVES at Ramiken Crucible Gallery in NYC this August. It will be broadcasted on the web as well. Stay posted to campwanatachi.com for exact dates. We will also be answering questions that have been emailed in to us. If you have questions about the religious/spiritual/Biblical components of CAMP WANATACHI, please email campwanatachi@gmail.com
Thanks,
Natalie Weiss
So how are Dutch girls going to see what happenend??
Seeing the girls on stage makes me a happy camper!
"Hello, Jim. This is Natalie, the creator of CAMP WANATACHI. I am also a Christian. Are you able to attend the musical? That will answer your question best."
Unfortunately, no. I'd love to discuss the scriptural backing for the musical though. Obviously this isn't the proper place. If you'd like to discuss it I'm open to a proper forum.
I won't be able to attend sadly (in UK) but will DEFINITELY be pledging before the 30th is up! My Sister lives and has worked in the US for the past 9 years. She started via. Camp America. She counselled/taught at Christian Camp in America and I know she had kids who have worked there/gone to her camp who were gay, so... the fact that the musical is about that, is pretty darn awesome! Maybe if kids who went there had something like this to see if would make a difference!
Bridgie- I'm backin' ya, baby! Broke-ass me, backin' superstar you! Looks like fun- too bad this show didn't debut May 11 when I was in NY. Booo! Wish I could see it live! Loved LotS, btw, I have been a faithful hulu watcher. Sad to hear it's over, Favorite episode, when you and Kara duked it out in that sealed up oxygen deprived room. Classic. xoxox hugs!
Natalie, I have never been to NY before, but i'm so getting out of Louisiana for this show. Will you possibly; if you have time; give directions / maps / etc... Sorry to be a country bumpkin, but I don't want to get lost in a big city :). Going from small time to prime time in the big apple will be serious culture shock :P!!
Thanking you in advance,

Hello, Jim. This is Natalie, the creator of CAMP WANATACHI. I am also a Christian. Are you able to attend the musical? That will answer your question best.
"the intersection of homosexuality and Christianity"
As a Christian I'm interested to know what this intersection is from the viewpoint of the producers.
