WHAT IS TRI? 

After 6 years, TRI, a new sport involving 3 teams at the same time, is at a level of international expansion. Imagine a mixture between Rugby, Aussie Rules and American Football.. yeah, it does sound crazy, but its working around the world.

Although it has been a long road, it seems that this sport will not only survive, but may be in a position to thrive internationally. The equipment is the most tangible and entertaining part about the game and has already been played with, in several countries.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

It's simple. The sport is growing, but we need to facilitate this kind of expansion and plan for the future. The most obvious next step is to get people playing and the best way to do this is by mass producing TRI products and shipping them directly to you.

WHAT WE NEED

In order to manufacture balls and goals and ship the products by spring, we need to successfully collect $37,000 US to begin production, which will include: $17,000 for manufacturing & testing, $5,000 opening moulds, $1,000 machine tooling, $5,000 material purchasing and inventory, $500 die-cutting and embossing, coating, assembly, $4,500 packaging and $4,000 of course standards, shipping, storage and delivery. Thanks to Kickstarter and Yourselves, MAL Sporting Goods, currently camping out in preparation in Shanghai China, will be able to manufacture enough units of balls and goals to meet minimum order requirements.

BENEFITS OF PLAYING TRI

TRI IS A FANTASTIC TRAINING GAME FOR ANY OFF-SEASON ATHLETE! Whether you play Rugby, American Football, or Australian Rules, you can gain a considerable amount of ball handling skills from passing, receiving, and shooting on goals. It also helps develop one's mental awareness as the dynamic of having 3 teams play at once forces you to make choices unheard of in common sports.

-Aussie Rules players can occasionally tighten their formations to more effectively execute objectives, rather than always scrapping for possession.  

-American Football players will learn open field tackling without pads and vastly improve their endurance. Football players may have the most to learn inter-culturally, which TRI provides through a mixture of sports and beliefs.

-Rugby players will gain a heightened sense of strategy and learn to use their skills in a multi-directional game. These players will need to execute faster team plays with less bodies on the field verses line tactics and refine eye-hand co-ordination.

-Lacrosse players will increase their endurance while also learning the importance of tackling, to better understand the use of their weight while making impact or cutting directions.

-Basketball and Soccer players can better understand the importance of contact, in sports, while re-learning ball handling, distance and timing, by hand or foot. These players will learn to shoot accurately under real tackling pressure scenarios.

ABOUT THE SUPPLIER

MAL Sporting Goods is a registered LLC of New York and operates in an exclusive partnership for the TRI Federation. Established in 2011, the start-up is dedicated ONLY to the production of TRI products and will be the only global supplier of them for some time. We are "for-profit" as quality experiences have a price and we understand the value of giving back and creating job opportunities, which comes at a cost. We believe in transparency.

The upcoming production is in anticipation of several major events to be hosted by the TRI Federation, including a 9 nations TRI World Finals in Shanghai and a 27 US State Nationals tournament in Austin, Texas. It's time to bring TRI back to the largest sports market in the world. Teams' registration will open soon and it may be a good idea to get some equipment to practice before going into battle.
