About this project
All I've ever known is playing music, it is my earliest memory and will always be my fondest one. A year ago I was ready to give up music after playing professionally for over 12 years. It's not like I haven't had any success. I've been signed to labels, have had national press, toured all over the country, and have had the opportunity to play with some amazing, world class musicians. Even with having all these things, I will still having a hard time making a living at it. I became so frustrated, I decided to put an ad in the paper and sell all things music related.
I ran into the manager of a studio in town, who I had known for a few years and had booked me for session work. There was a large festival going on that we were both a part of and it was the first time she had seen me play in quite a while. She was so blown away she told me she was going to help me in one way or another. I gave her a copy of some demos I had done and she told me she would listen to them and get in touch with me. We started brainstorming and together we rallied some friends, old and new to help me make 5 songs. In the mean time she has become my manager and we are now embarking on a new adventure together, of finishing a full album.
This project so far has been such a labor of love. Everything I'm offering is coming from the hard work of people who believe in me. The CDs, t-shirts, vinyl, posters, etc are all made by friends and come with things like photos I took and printed out myself. The video above was made by a good friend who drives two hours on his day off just to help out for free.
