Welcome to Utah Girl (not from Utah)....
Wow! We are so excited to be here. Thank you for coming along and for checking out our project! We are recording our first pro album at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, home of inspirations like Train and Michael Franti & Spearhead. It's important to say "pro" because we have spent way too much time recording our creative lifeblood in half-built studios, with very talented musicians who just aren't engineers (ourselves included!).
Don't you hate it when you go see a live band, you love the experience you have of them, and then you take their CD home and it really has nothing to do with what you just saw, heard, felt?
And if you've experienced us live, well, we want you to go home with the real goods, so you can enjoy it, digest all the richness, the yumminess, and the sometimes satisfying uncomfortable-ness that comes with music that touches those deeper places in your soul, in the comfort of your own home.
If you join us in this project, we will complete our full length album, with 11 songs (and maybe a bonus super-hidden cosmic mystery track). Your money will pay several pro musicians who make their livings off their music. It'll pay to lockout our fantastic studio for 6 days, it'll pay for our incredible engineer, mixing, mastering, and pressing cd's for distribution (and for mailing them to YOU!). Every leftover cent will be used for marketing a promotion - to bring our music and our message to the masses... mmmm...
