We will temporarily transform an Italian ice shop into a travel agency and tourist information office for the winter months.
We will transform Ralph's Italian Ice shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn into a travel agency and tourist information office for the months of December, January, and February.
Through brochures, posters, charts, maps, schedules, miniature models, videos, and other informational tools, we will blur the lines between fact and fiction, art and life. Some of the information supplied will be invented, while some will be based soundly in reality. The travel agency will be staffed 40 hours a week, with a range of special events and evening performances.
We are raising money to secure the space and purchase materials.
