Day Eight

Okay, it's amazing how quickly word is spreading about the store. Thanks to all of you who are posting and passing along the link. We have supporters from near and far. Those of you who have come into the store have already seen some of the changes we're working on. We have started getting some produce stands in. We have a new vendor, Tassili's Raw Reality, in our Pop Food track offering raw food and vegan wraps for lunch. We're getting more produce and adding farms to our roster.

We are a week away from unveiling The Box Car, our experimental mobile grocery concept that grew out of our collaboration with the Blank Foundation and ACE Loans. We are determined to get real food into areas that need it most.

There's lots of excitement in the air! It's amazing what can be accomplished with community support and the drive of community members to see neighborhoods improve. We've managed to accomplish a lot in less than a year with the force of many behind us. We're totally stoked to see what the next 5 months will bring!
