The Afro-Peruvian Sextet is now in the studio! We are bubbling with excitement for our new album "City of Kings" that is being recorded as we launch this project!
Through the magic of Kickstarter, a little help from our friends and enough caffeine to get an entire olympic team disqualified... we are going to raise $25,000 to
1) RECORD the new album with Engineer extraordinaire Paul Geluso
2) MIX AND MASTER with Paul Geluso, Saponegro Records' Julio Ortega and the greatest mastering guru on earth, Alan Silverman!
3) DEVELOP ARTWORK with our unique designer Christian Braun
4) DUPLICATE with Nimbit. Cool company.
5) PUBLICIZE and LAUNCH through Mitchell Feldman Associates
We are thrilled that we will be able to keep you updated throughout the process this month. We have until September 16th at 11:59 to raise the funding... but of course the sooner we do it the more the creative juices can flow. The release of our new CD is set for February 2013.
