Update #1: Thank You
I want to take a moment and thank each and every one of you who pledged the Kickstarter campaign for Boys of Spring - The Movie. I am regretfully shutting down the Kickstarter process for the film. Your pledge amount will NOT be charged. Ending this process doesn't mean the film won't be completed – one way or another it will be finished! I am actively working to secure corporate sponsorship and obtain the needed post-production funds.
To those of you who supported me and the film by donating at Kickstarter, you WILL receive the corresponding Boys of Spring gift. Even though the pledge goal was not reached your support has meant a great deal. So because you made the effort to help this film and a struggling filmmaker, I want you to have the pledge gifts at no cost. The gifts are a “Thank You” for believing in me and the movie.
Boys of Spring - The Movie is something I have put my heart and soul (and life savings) into for over two decades. One other thing I can promise is that this film will be like nothing you have seen before. My goal when you watch Boys of Spring - The Movie is that you find it a rewarding and memorable experience. Heck, you might even learn something along the way.
Although the Kickstarter process didn't work out like I had hoped, it was certainly interesting and a learning experience.

As a youngster the two things Tim Sheridan loved to do were play sports and draw. He has continued his love of sports, particularly baseball and expanded his artistic eye beyond drawing to include photography, cinematography, and design.
Tim was a starving college student when got the job announcing Cubs games in the spring of 1984. From that first day sitting in the press box next to legendary Harry Caray, Tim knew he had landed in a special place. The following day Tim brought his old 35mm camera to the ballpark. Soon he had his first video camera and brought that along as well. When Tim wasn’t announcing the Cubs, he captured images of the team. After doing this for several years he realized what a treasure of behind the scenes footage he had acquired. Tim also knew there was a larger story that most fans didn’t know, and so began the Boys of Spring.
With a college background in journalism and broadcasting, Tim worked his way up the television news industry at two network affiliate TV stations in Phoenix, AZ. He gave that up to form his own production company where he is able to mix his love of art, history, music, sports, and intimate interviews in many of his projects.
Boys of Spring – The Movie has been Tim’s vision and life’s passion for a long time. He has devoted his personal resources and funds for decades to this project and is not concerned with recovering those, but only to have this story told. Bringing a feature length film to market is costly. Tim has cut expenses wherever he could, without sacrificing quality, but he needs the help of fellow fans to make “Boys of Spring – The Movie” a reality.
Being a die-hard fan himself, Tim knows that Cubs fans are great at supporting an underdog!
