We've launched an exciting new project of our own! Introducing the Kickstarter app for iPhone!
Photo-main

Diana Randolph's second book of acclaimed pastel paintings and vivid poetry revealing a vibrant rural life in the heart of the forest.

Diana's first book, In the Heart of the Forest, was a lovely little chapbook that was warmly received and widely praised by all who encountered it. It was printed one at a time and painstakingly assembled for distribution.

This time around we are hoping to ramp up the impact of Book Two by making it a 10 x 7 inch, four color, glossy, perfect bound, coffee-table-type-book that will more brilliantly showcase her outstanding painting and poetry skills.

Wisconsin Poet Laureate, Bruce Dethlefsen says: In Beacons of the Earth and Sky, Diana Randolph pays acute attention to nature out-of-doors and nature inside ourselves. She searches, nurtures, and, at times, rescues the poetic details of her environment poised, in “the great circle of time.” What she shows us in these pages tells me plainly she is “in the right place at the right time.” – Bruce Dethlefsen, Wisconsin Poet Laureate (2011-2012)

This up-tick of production and printing values will cost more to produce as it will be printed on beautiful 80 lb matte premium paper to give her artwork the best display. This heavier inside stock, along with a 100 lb laminated cover printed by the best regional print shop available will not only be super lovely, but the money stays in in local circulation and creates a more stable local economy for everyone. "Buy Locally Think Globally," as they say. This printer uses up to the minute, state of the art, color printing processes that are much kinder to the environment than a lot of the less expensive overseas printers. What we hope to do with this Kickstarter project is generate sufficient advance income to make it all happen in the best possible way for the highest good of all involved.
