About this project
Independent director/writer/producer Cameron Scott has already created what is surely become an instant cult classic. In the world of horror, Grindhouse and exploitation the film 'Post Mortem, America 2021' has already gained cult status with the most amazing cast committed to film. Starring cult icons Linnea Quigley, Jim O'Rear, Monique Dupree, Joel Wynkoop, Lloyd Kaufman, April Burril (aka Chainsaw Sally), Larry Laverty and horror starlets Melanie Robel, Michelle Shields, Sarah Swofford, Nicola Fiore, BeBe Bellamont, Isabelle Stephen and many many more. Nearly 75% of the film has been shot and completed, including the roles of Quigley, O'Rear, Dupree, Robel, Swofford, Wynkoop and others. We are looking for the funds to bring in the rest of the principal cast members, shoot one last scene with Miss Linnea Quigley, acquire airline tickets, hotel rooms, props, effects, food, etc.
The best part about this fundraiser is that you get to be a part of the production. If we reach our set goal of $3500.00 we will have the film 100% complete and be ready to have the film prepped for film festivals and conventions by the end of the year. Each and every person that donates will get something in return for their money besides the warm fuzzy feeling for helping this production out. Depending on your donations you can receive various memorabilia such as buttons, pictures, posters, autographed items, copies of the soundtrack, exclusive looks at behind the scenes materials, pre-orders on the dvd upon release and TOTALLY EXCLUSIVE roles as a featured zombie killed on screen by lead actress Linnea Quigley herself from the cult smash hit RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD!
This is a total grass roots production, shot entirely independent of the Hollywood scene and untainted by having too many hands in the pot. An original and haunting tale of revenge and terror the likes you have never seen. The cast and crew have worked furiously on this for the past two years and it's a 'all in the family' production. Everyone has put their heart and soul into this project and you will see that it comes across in the footage already shot.
