Green Valley HS orchestra will be play at Carnegie Hall. Please help us so that all students can experience this once in a life time opportunity.
I'm a violinist with the Green Valley High School(GVHS) Orchestra in Henderson, Nevada, and we have been invited to play at Carnegie Hall in New York City this November. I am raising funds for myself and other students who cannot pay their own way for this once in a life time opportunity. This is my senior year at the high school. Because we are a National Grammy Signature School, we have been invited to play all over the world. These venues have included Carnegie Hall and Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition, the mayor of Rome, Italy invited GVHS Orchestra to be the only US High School orchestra to perform at the city's New Year's Celebration in 2007. All of the funding will go to the orchestra and is a 501c3 tax deduction
