Thank you all for your support of We Are the Youth! We've hit the road running and we're currently in Lincoln, Nebraska. Off to Omaha later today to meet more amazing LGBT youth and then on to Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota!

We have exactly one week left to reach our goal of $7,000. This would allow us to expand the project to the Midwest (and Beyond!) and share more amazing stories of LGBT youth in the United States.
The Huffington Post has been a great help during the Kickstarter campaign, republishing two of our past profiles, Ana and Dohyun, and we got a great write up on Mashable, but we still need your support! Help us spread the word about the fundraiser to your social networks -- twitter, facebook, tumblr, reddit, good ol' word of mouth -- so we can keep the project alive and reach our goal by the morning of Sept 12.

We've reached the halfway mark in our fundraising period and things are looking good! We've raised more than 30% of our goal and have just two more weeks to raise $5,000 so we can expand We Are the Youth to the Midwest.
Last week we met with to Eric and Drew, two new friends who work at the Queer Nebraska Youth Networks. They informed us about the diverse group of young people who are eager to share their stories. We're getting more and more excited for the upcoming trip and can't wait to meet some of the amazing LGBT youth that live in the Midwest.
