ABOUT THE PROJECT:
We Are the Youth chronicles the individual stories of queer youth in the United States through images and the written word. We're committed to telling the stories of gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) youth as a way to combat stigma and highlight the diversity of the queer youth population, but we can't do it without your help!

We're reaching out to queer youth of all races, nationalities, religions and gender identities, under the age of 21. We've been contacted by youth from across the country interested in participating in the project, but because of lack of funding, we've only been able to profile those in the New York tri-state area.

THE GOAL:
We're aiming to raise at least $2,000 to be able to travel throughout the South, starting in Georgia, and photograph and interview queer youth. This would allow us to broaden our reach and expand the diversity of those profiled.
