What is "Loretta's Boy" ?

"Loretta's Boy" will be an album that explores the world through my eyes. I grew up in harsh circumstances, but I made it out. Now I can give hope to future generations. It's an album that deals with hardships, dreams, passion, ambition, and love. And it's also an album about having a good time and enjoying your life. Although I've grown into a man, everyday I'm learning. I'm still Loretta's boy.

What genre of music is on the album?

There will be Funk, Soul, R&b, Hip Hop, and Pop on the album. It's a mash-up of everything. I believe in writing "big" records, with universal themes. Something that everyone can enjoy.

Who are your influences?

Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind & Fire, OutKast, Goodie Mob, Usher, Jay-Z, and Kanye West

- A VOCAL ARRANGER to make decisions on vocal lines and harmonies that bring the recordings to life.

- A MIXING ENGINEER to piece all the elements of the recording together and ensure a perfect blend.

- A MASTERING ENGINEER to add the final touch, so that the records are radio ready.

- CD DUPLICATIONS for distribution

- PRINTED WALLETS for packaging

- A WEBSITE for updates and promoting the album

- A VIDEO TEAM to capture the magic in the studio

How can I help?

I want to release "Loretta's Boy" by fall. In order to do that, we need to raise $4550 by July 21, 2012. So any amount you can give would be a great help. There will be signed copies of the album, giveaways, and much more. So stay tuned.

How this whole thing works...

Kickstarter is an all or nothing deal. When you pledge a dollar amount , it will not leave your account until we meet our project goal of $4550. However, if we do not meet the goal the project will not be funded. Every bit counts. So spread the word and give what you can!
