Update #2: A Great Day in Prospect Park!
Saturday, October 30th ~
We were blessed with fabulous weather, performed for large and appreciative audiences and met hundreds of new fans. We are grateful to have had this opportunity to share our work with so many of our friends in New York.
One highlight of the day was our collaboration with GallopNYC. Fifteen teens from NYC Cares helped us gather audiences and joined GallopNYC kids in a joyous, fun performance event led by Equus Projects dancer Alberto Denis.
To enable us to keep bringing our unique dance work to new audiences, please consider a small (or large) contribution to The Equus Projects.
With your help, we will reach our Kickstarter goal this week!

Update #1: Saturday in the Park with Horses
We are ready to launch this amazing project that will bring dancers and horses to the heart of Brooklyn. This is the first time The Equus Projects has performed in Brooklyn and the park is resplendent with fabulous fall colors.
We have orchestrated an amazing four hours of events that includes a fully choreographed warm-up for the entire cast of dancers and horses; an open rehearsal to share how we work with our dressage riders; a series of Round Pen Dances that feature dancing with a riderless horse; children from GallopNYC therapeutic riding program dancing with our dancers; and we end with a truly grand finale.
We are also pleased to have time to be in real horses time. With horses they say it takes as loing as it will take and if you rush it will surely take longer!
It promises to be a beautiful day and a great chance to see the full range of work that The Equus Projects does. Bring a blanket and stay for the whole 4 hours. Or wander by to catch a glimpse.
We are grateful to our Kickstarter supporters for helping us make this happen.
We hope to see you on Saturday
