      I've been a bit quite on this front recently due to working on Aleph and the graphics bundles for Steam, so I do apologize for that. I was actually having some folk do some testing of various under-the-hood things in the meantime though, so it's not wasted time. As far as the vehicle goes, I will say this: it is not a truck. It is something much bigger and, well, explosive :) I will have to shift my focus back to this soon to wrap it up.

      Thanks for the great support everyone! Didn't quite make it to the stretch goals, but what the heck, got more than half of them and that's pretty darn good! I am gonna get to work on spiffying up the graphics (adding animations and such) and tweaking the physics and implementing car physics. I will do what I can on my own, and the rest will have to wait 2 weeks (since it takes 14 days for Amazon payments to process the KS pledges). I will keep you all updated.       The demo is just the Alpha stage. None of the animation, achievements, HUD stuff, or any of the new monsters, weapons, etc are included in it and will only be in the Beta and final release versions.

      Thanks for the support, it means a lot! Does your company have a webpage? It'd be cool to check it out and see how things are going! The site you linked looks like it could be very helpful as far as sound effects and such are concerned. It's tough to find good sfx sometimes!

      Hi Jesse! Very cool project. My indie company is also working on a top down zombie shooter for the iOS so it's great to see someone else loves this genre too! It looks great so far and I think your work with Box2D is great.

      I saw that the Kickstarter money is for art and I am not sure if there is sound in the works but not in the game yet, but if you would like here is a link that may help. http://opengameart.org/ There are some amazing zombie moans, weapon noises, and music on that site you can use for free as long as you give credit on it. It helps with prototyping and really brings your game alive!

      This project is awesome and I love the playable version as it is now :)

      After tooling around with how webstorage works (essentially like a internet cookies) and running some tests, I have determined that I could actually relatively easily create a perk/upgrade system using the same basic principle behind the achievements. So, short answer, yes, I can add upgrades and perks. I am thinking that certain in-game actions will unlock certain perks/upgrades or otherwise accruing some sort of in-game currency to unlock them. I had a few general ideas of the types of upgrades: Magnum ammo which makes your bullets go through obstacles and monsters, Explosive ammo which makes small explosions on impact, incindiary ammo which sets things on fire upon contact, Impact vest which reduces damage taken from explosions, body armor which increases your overall health limit, upgraded toolkit which makes better barricades, and a couple other ideas. For the music, it is not yet completed to showcase, but if you go to Note by Note studios (the link in the main project) you can listen to a number of wonderful samples of his music - or you can go to my website and check out some of the Aleph music, also done by Mr. Rao.

      This will be a pretty major determining factor if I'm going to stay at $5, or bump to $20. A game of this style $5 is usually all I would pay, but I like indie developers and so far I like your business practices. >.>

      Also, have you considered getting a sample of the music for it to post, to help backers decide if they want to get the sound track as well?

      I am playing around with the idea of upgrades/perks, but I need to work on making sure that the game can save previous progress, which will have to be client-side, being browser-based and all, so it is a possibility I am still toying with. Right now the main premise is to get as high a score as possible through killing loads of zombies, but also completing some various tasks/goals and taking down big bosses. It's not meant to be a particularly long and involved game, but a game that can be played repeatedly and it'll be a bit different every time.

      It woud likely behoove you to start looking in to the amount of money it will cost to do 'X' and make a list of "If this hits $500 X will happen, $750 Y will happen, etc.' Help get people all in terested in seeing what can come of the game, pledging more. :)
