Eroyn's Story is a documentary about a mother's tragic loss of her son, how she learned to forgive, and how has determined to use that tragedy to educate her community and maybe even the world about strength in God, shaken baby syndrome and infant death.

One day Erolyn Sweeney left her baby in the care of the baby's father when she headed to work. Life-changing days rarely herald their arrival, and this was the cases--for Erolyn hadn't a clue that she was soon to be irrevocably altered.

Toward the middle of the day a phone call alerted her to go directly to the hospital, and that her baby would meet her there. Terrified of the worst she whispered a prayer and rushed to the ER, only discover that the worst had indeed occurred. The severity of the baby's injuries only added feelings of agonizing sadness to the already swirling feelings of loss, betrayal and guilt.

Was this avoidable? Were there warning signs? The answers to these question may not bring Erolyn's baby back to her, but they can help prevent the loss of another's. No mother should have to  bury her child.

Shaking seems a passive form of abuse, but it can have deadly consequences, especially to infants, who are top-heavy. It almost always results sever injury, or death.
