A series of paintings of surreal and whimsical hot air balloons
Hello! This project is to fund a small series of hot air balloon paintings using interesting everyday objects as the body of the balloon. Several years ago I lived in Albuquerque New Mexico, home of the famous annual hot air balloon festival. During the festival the entire sky is filled with hundreds of balloons in all sizes, colors, and shapes.
I plan to do a small series of paintings inspired by the hot air balloon festival and look forward to your support. I have limited the number of rewards in order to keep the workload manageable for myself. Funding will go toward canvases, paint, printing and shipping costs.
The prints will be on semi gloss paper and cut to bleed (no white border). All paintings will be in acrylic on a gallery wrapped canvas, matte varnished and ready to hang with no framing required.
