Our Story

Our Goal

DC Artists of great renown rarely have a chance to share how they got where they are, and those just starting out rarely have the opportunity to share their work with new audiences. There will be interviews with success stories, performances by up-and-comers and always some kick-ass music to end the show.

The cross-pollination that comes with entertaining and learning from each other creates amazing things. “Comedia del Arte, this is jazz; Ibsen, I'd like you to meet poetry slam. We think you have a lot to talk about.”

Our Show

“The Charlie Visconage Show" will have all the monologues, comic characters, prizes and audience interaction you'd expect in a late night show. Our host is a talented improviser, storyteller and popular podcast jockey. Executive producer, Topher Bellavia is a national award-winning filmmaker with twenty years of experience producing live theater. We've also got a genius accompanist, a razor-sharp funny side-kick, a team of eager comedy writers and a dedicated staff and crew who've already done the groundwork, we just need your investment to press “Go.”

The Ask

There are sets to build, costumes to hem, theater rent to pay, lights to be hung, websites to program, and marketing materials to design and print. Adding to the costs are a video camera, microphones, a projector, headsets, furniture, and many other things that are needed for long-term success.

Mounting a great live show isn't cheap and we need your help to bring new audiences to experience new artists and to learn from those who've already found success.
