I've written songs about love, grace, pain, hope and more. My heart is to encourage others w/this EP. I'd be honored if you'd help me.
This is my first original solo music project I have ever released. The time feels right...and I am very excited at the possibility of sharing with you. I have been through some hard things over the past few years that have changed my life and refined me as a person. Much of the content of this album comes from pressing through pain...seeing the love of God sustain me and give hope...learning about true love...struggling with faith...healing slowly over time...forming deeper relationships with family and friends...and much more.
My prayer for this album is that it would challenge, encourage, inspire, bring joy, bring healthy tears and smiles, make you nod your head, dance, grieve, breath deep...or whatever else it is supposed to do in your heart and mind. I have tried my very best to be honest, raw and true to who I am as an artist...which I hope will translate to you as the listener.
My goal is to raise $10,000...which would help cover studio time, musicians, mixing, mastering, art...and a host of other things. Currently I am looking at doing an EP which is comprised of 6 songs or less usually. I would be honored if you would consider helping me in this endeavor. If you can give financially...that is a blessing! If you can donate in encouragement and prayer...that is a blessing! Your interest alone means much to me!!!!
The album will be a mixture of styles that I've grown up listening to. My hope is to take my experiences of sitting next to my dad with his guitar...mix those with my love for Billy Joel and all things singer songwriter...stir in a little soul...and then add a dash of hip hop which I fell in love with because of my brothers awesome break dancing skills when I was a kid.
If I am fortunate enough to reach my goal...I will be EXTREMELY grateful. If by any chance I exceed my goal...my plan is to invest the rest into a full length album rather than an EP. I am investing some of my own money into this...but costs are high and again...I'd love your help! So...check out the pledge levels and give it some thought.
