A map showing all subway, commuter, intercity, and heritage rail service in the Northeast USA, from Maine to North Carolina.

Finally, a way to plan trips by train throughout the East Coast- whether it be by subway, commuter train, or Amtrak.  This map will cover everything from Maine to North Carolina. 

Brought to you by the team behind the California Rail Map and the US High Speed Rail System map.  Many of us grew up out east or are living there now, so we have firsthand local knowledge.

The map will be made available as a free PDF released under a Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial License (CC-BY-NC) and posters will also be made available via Zazzle.com print on demand service (See here for example of previous California Rail Map's pricing and options). Map will also be available on fabric via Spoonflower.com print on demand.

For those interested in commercial use, back this project at the $25 level or higher for unlimited royalty-free usage rights.  After the project is done commercial licenses will be available for $100.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter

We don't anticipate and major obstacles as we have successfully completed a similar Kickstarter project for California.

There are no major risks or challenges anticipated.

As of February 13, illustration work is 10% complete and based on the pace of previous work, and the previous California Rail Map project, the rest should be done by early May.

There are no technical challenges associated with this project. Files are backed up among the design team.
