Update #54: Peripheral City (1st four episodes): Screening for Cast, Crew & Frenz
Hi Guys,
Proud to have completed this project, now it's time to have a party! It's this Thursday, Nov 18th at 9pm. Get on the L train and go to Bedford Ave stop, walk three blks north on Bedford and take a left to:
139 N 10th St between Bedford and Berry. Buzzer says Munson. If we've never met, I'll be the girl in the orange platform clogs! Hope to see you then! This series got me into the Writer's Guild of America, yay! I am super proud and pleased with the work and support you all gave. I seriously would be honored to have you all there with me. And if you can't be there, check out www.peripheralcity.com at the end of this week. Should be up by then.
best, Amanda Cole

Update #51: Wow Guys, Thank you so much: Info Update
Great News,
We have beat our minimum of $2500 by over a thousand bucks- ($3800!) thanks to you all, that means most of our keys in the crew will be paid! Also, you have kind of made me believe that the black doors have not completely closed over the rays of my artist heart. When presented with this microfunding idea of asking for help, I was truly nauseated. But Jeez Louise, I think maybe I wasted a lot of time thinking the wrong thoughts. I feel very connected in joy to all the backers... You really got how much this means to me... weird!!!! There are little creaks of light slivering through my non-believer self. So, guys, what projects are you holding back on? Let em rip!!!
Project update:
The Cast is shifting around, where it will land nobody knows... the talented Serena Southam and Elaine O'Brien have conflicts making way for the next round of awesome, fireball women actresses.
We've gained one Damien Omar Lee, who is amazing, and I am looking forward to scheduling for the first time in a while.
The incredibly talented Jeff Mercel from Mercury Rev is working on the opening scene score right now, as we speak. I can already hear the Mercury Rev sound all over us, which is just fine by me.
For the Shooting Diary, all the dirty, gritty info of behind the scenes will be found here: http://ifnotfilm.blogspot.com/
from the very beginning of this adventure until the end... I will be updating all throughout the next couple of months. If you'd prefer to have it sent via
email, please send me your email, and also for the sake of other rewards, your address, a picture of yourself, and phone numbers to: peripheralcity@gmail.com. If you don't want the rewards, let me know as well....
Thank you for your support, I feel obliged to make some great weirdo cinema that we will all be proud of.
Thank you so much!!
