Amanda Cole is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art in Experimental Film, School of the Museum of Fine Arts & Harvard Extension. Always trying to blur the lines, other-worldliness is a big theme in her work. Her web series, "Peripheral City" (2009) landed her a spot in the Writer's Guild of America East. Peripheral City was funded on Kickstarter and can be seen on Diorama, Digital Chick TV, Vimeo and peripheralcity.com. Strand is on youtube, Digital Chick TV, Vimeo and SciFinal. I wish! No, it just means I am eligible for way more events, free movies, screeners and I sound important. Plus if (when) i ever get a real writing job where I have to cap my i's, i get an enforced minimum per script which is probably more than I make in one year at the moment. I think it just allows me to hustle in a larger pond. Feels cooler, but maybe the heat is actually turned up, which I like.
