About this project
The Pink Elephant studio was born in the mountains in Colorado, carefully cultivated with expert support.
It spent its adolescent years in a small city room in the center of San Francisco's Alamo Square.
Then we packed up and came to a fun neighborhood in South Austin, a total staging of what the studio was to eventually become. We paneled the walls and recorded a great record, yep, "The Creature Sessions"
...In 2009, we decided to build a proper home for our musical ambitions, safe from prying ears and hourly constraints. It has taken 2 years of blood, sweat, and financial acrobatics, but the Pink Elephant Studio is now open to the world!!!
This has been an incredible journey of education, trials, and creative opportunity. We have visions of great music and want to expand our creature community and share the space we've created with the awesome arts community, local theatres, film makers and creatives who love the process of designing sound! This occasion is a chance for us all to connect!
There will be food, candles, libations, art, music, thrilling tales of new works and Pink Elephants!!
Most importantly, there will be bizarre, beautiful people! Passionate people!
Anybody who would like to help chip in for this event will be enabling a truly safe zone for the creation of fearless, honest art.
