This show honors the American spirit with some of the most patriotic songs in American history.
Worldwide Theatricals is proud to bring an original musical production about the wonderful country we live in, to the stage of the California Theatre of the Performing Arts in San Bernardino.
"Celebrate America," is a brand new musical that is being written by myself, and James Griffin. Celebrate Americal does just what the title says. It celebrates the American Spirit from the nations creation to the current challenges we face as a nation.
One of the challenges we face as a theatre company, is that we live in one of the most economically challenged areas in the United States. The Inland Empire of California has been hit hard by the economy, our unemployment rate is one of the highest in the nation. In order to keep these shows running and affordable to the patrons that live in our community, we have to find creative new ways to fund the shows we produce that are original pieces like this one.
Celebrate America will feature historic speeches, songs and events that made this nation great. From the signing of the Declaration of Independence, to the journey of discovery by Louis and Clark, to man walking on the moon. Celebrate America will pay musical homage to all the events that have made this country what it is today.
We hope you find the value in helping to produce these original and small but important pieces of theatre.
