Update #3: New $150 Reward Level with Original Art
Thanks to Lucky Squid Studios, our official source for Tokyo Demons merchandise, we now have FIVE pieces of original Tokyo Demons art available to backers at the (new) $150 level. Head artist PinkPlaidRobot has designed our upcoming keychain designs, which can be seen here. For the first five people who pledge $150 (or increase a lower pledge up to $150), they will receive everything at the $100 level plus an original black-and-white piece of "chibi" art with up to three Tokyo Demons characters. Request whatever you want and PPR will draw it! This is an exclusive offer for the Kickstarter, since PPR is taking time from her extremely busy Lucky Squid duties to do this just for us. DELICIOUS.

We've hit about $4,500 due to our generous and probably attractive backers, and we couldn't be happier about it. But remember: for higher totals, there are even more prizes planned. At the risk of repeating ourselves:
$5,000: We'll release a flashFORWARD short story from Tokyo Ghosts, the series we're hoping to do after the completion of Tokyo Demons Books 1-3. We promise this won't spoil Tokyo Demons--it will just give teasers and some insight into the later series, which takes place 5 years after the events of Tokyo Demons and focuses on Ayase and Jo learning about their origins.
$6,000: We'll do a Tokyo Demons Talk/Character CD! A Talk CD is a media format used in Japan, a sort of "immersive" CD where the character is talking directly to the listener during simple events like taking a drive, going to an amusement park, etc. Character CDs with a romantic side--sometimes called "date" CDs--are the basis of Japanese franchises such as Starry Sky (http://sleepisfortheweak.org/reviews/micros/starrysky). We'll have listeners vote on which character will do the Talk CD as well as the theme of the CD--friendship, drama, or romance.
$7,000 and beyond: More fabulous prizes will be announced if reason goes out the window and this actually happens.
