About this project
Can a song move you if nobody hears it? NO!!! Absolutely not!!
So, after half a life lived and scores of songs written, join me on this journey to MATTERING MUSICALLY on the planet, by making possible the recording of my first full 12 song CD with great musicians and a great producer!!
My songs reflect the beauty and the struggle of being human - the challenge of trying to live authentically and connect meaningfully with others in a seemingly inauthentic, meaningless world; and the paradox of being on a spiritual path, striding towards the light yet embracing one's own darkness and humanity. My music expresses a yearning for freedom, a connection with something larger than myself, and a desire to live in the truth. When pressed to self-define, I call my music "Heart Rock". I'm really excited about the new songs I'll be recording on this CD -- I think you'd love them if only you'd ever hear them...

I've been writing songs for over 15 years. I have a background as a writer/actor/director in film,TV and theater (I had bit parts in "Friends" and "Seinfeld", had my short play appear Off-Broadway). My film/TV/theater experience taught me how to envision and complete a creative project. In 1999 I began taking songwriting workshops in New York and songs started rolling out of me. My first break was getting "Hundred Story Buildings", a 9/11 tribute song written while I was working helping victims of the disaster, played on the radio. In 2009 I recorded my first demo and now, finally, it's time to record a full length CD with great musicians and really get my music heard!!
