What's this all about?

I am starting this project to obtain funding for the purpose of creating buttons and t-shirts that show support and raise awareness for one of America's greatest culinary trends...food trucks.

While food trucks continue to grow in popularity across the country, there are still regulations in several cities that make it difficult for mobile food vendors to thrive. For example, Chicago has strict street food laws that prevent service within 200 feet of a restaurant, and being in the same parking spot for more than two hours. Preparation of food to order is also outlawed. In Washington DC, there have been proposed rules that would allow sweets trucks to be open for just 10 minutes, and force food trucks into closing earlier than restaurants. Support for these vendors will hopefully help more Americans recognize the importance of food trucks in our eating culture. With these shirts I want to raise awareness for food trucks all over America, encouraging Americans to support these mobile eateries.

I hope to open up my own food truck someday, but for now want to ensure that this trend continues to thrive, and raise funds to create these shirts. Thank you for your support!

Shirt Details

Shirts will be printed in white ink on navy t-shirts and available in adult sizes S, M, L, and XL. Upon the completion of the project, you will be sent a survey so that you can select your size and provide your shipping information.
