Stretch goals update
Here is a screen shot of our voting. Improved story line is a clear leader at the moment. Once this stretch goal is reached and improved story line is still a winner, we will lock it by removing from the poll.

We are happy to introduce two new rewards:
$35 - Receive digital soundtrack and access to all future Legends of Eisenwald expansion content including new scenarios, Map Editor, new characters and inventory. Digital soundtrack will be delivered in October, everything else later. And by access we do mean free access!
Judging by the poll, it seems that there is no much interest in $175 Collector’s Edition Box, but some of you asked about signed edition box. That’s a new idea for us but well, maybe there are some people who would be interested in it.
$175 – Signed Limited Edition Box. Same as $75 edition (two discs, including Legends of Eisenwald, Discord Times Collector's Edition, digital art book, and the soundtrack on a separate disc, a booklet), plus a signed photo of the team, a map on canvas, and a medieval style post card. Does not include $75 box.
$200+ rewards will include $175 box.
New way of payments
Also, we had many requests (mostly from Europe and people without credit cards) to offer other forms of payment. We are happy to announce that we can now accept Paypal:
http://aterdux.com/archives/347
For our Russian supporters – we accept Yandex Money now: http://aterdux.com/ru/archives/302
All the funds collected through these avenues will be counted towards stretch goals.

The irrational, visceral reaction some gamers have to the letters "DLC" never ceases to amaze me.
Creator Alex Podgoredsky on May 17, 2012
@Roq - I agree with you.
And because it's not a some kind of DLC or "Down Load what we Cutting from the game" for additional price (i think it's more like a future add-ons for game) - i upped my pledge to 35$.
I'd like LoE.
And i think i like all future add-ons. So why dont give an additional ten bucks for that?
Creator Roq on May 16, 2012
I think you guys are still not quite getting what Atterdux have in mind. The $35 reward says: "All future DLC". What this means (and Atterdux have confirmed this) is that they intend to deliver the *full* game on release to all pledgers at $15 and above - that is as before, there is no change there. And any money that is pledged now at *all* levels will be used for the sole purpose of making the full game and fulfilling as many stretch goals as possible and putting them into that game.
Later, when the game is released they will then work on expanded content. It's normal to make a charge for expansions to support their development cost and also because they only really have value to those who already bought the full game. This is a similar model to the way Shogun 2 - Total War works. They release a full game that is completely playable out of the box and then charge for expansions. It's really the only sensible commercial way of releasing expansions.
Also, those of us who have upped their pledges to the $35 level are not doing it just to qualify for later expansions, that could be a nice bonus, but we are doing it mainly because Atterdux need that money right now to make a better base game and meet their stretch goals.
Eisenwald and the Banner saga are probably the two most exciting developments in this genre for a long time and have every chance of being successful, so I hope that pledgers won't let the abusive behaviour of some larger companies affect their decision to back the project.

The way I see it is this, Aterdux Entertainment wants to make the game the best it can be, unfortunately so far they haven’t received much more than the absolute minimum required to make the basic game.
Now the basic game will be pretty good, I've been watching for a while and I'm reasonably certain of that. The thing is they want to make it even better! There's loads of other stuff they would love to add to the game, (the stretch goals) but they simply cannot afford to do this unless we back them with more funds.
So they are offering to make us the goals we don’t reach anyway, but they cannot do it for free! As much as they would like to, they have to make some money out of the game, so we have a choice accept a good basic game or encourage them to add the little extras they would love to give us!
This leaves the choice squarely in the backers hands, Pledge $15 and you get the same game as everyone else at launch. You will play it, and hopefully have a lot of fun. And right there you may be happy and not interested in any extra content, other people will love the game want more. This extra content is for those people, those people who think to themselves yeah I’m gonna love the ORIGINAL game, and yeah give me more please!
You don’t have to decide now either, the cool thing is you can choose to back now at $35, (this not only gets you the extra content but also the awesome soundtrack by the incredibly talented Ressa Schwarzwald) or you can choose to back at $15 and decide later and buy the content as you wish.
So to wrap up, personally I’m all for those little extras, that even if not required will add more flavour to the game for replays. Just because the game will have DLC, does not mean it is needed, you can take it or leave it, it is up to the individual.
Please don’t shun the game to make a statement, Aterdux Entertainment, is only a little team and I firmly believe they deserve all our support.
Thanks for reading!

I agree with with @a, @Conor Farrell and @Muttala.
And i think it's not very good idea to give a free DLC for only a 35+$ backers.
Creator Muttala on May 16, 2012
sorry a couple of typing error, I mean the basic pledge USD 15.. (not 18)
Creator Muttala on May 16, 2012
I have the same feeling with @a and @Conor Farrell.
Don't get me wrong, I certainly understand Aterdux challenges funding effort as explained.
From my point of view I pick the game to have the minimum full experience, Discord times is another game which I don't favor in, but since Aterdux so kind / generous and give it free to me at USD 18, I am ok to accept it with thanks.
The only thing is my original "full experience" now have to shrink down with the absence of and editor or DLC which is impacting my original plan.
Anyway, it is my opinion, because extra funding to this game means I have to prioritize budget to other potential good games
Creator Matias Berrondo on May 16, 2012
Went ahead and raised my pledge to $35 since I'm interested in receiving future content once it becomes available. It's understandable that you may need to charge a small fee for future content once the base game is complete in order to be reimbursed for the time spent working on it, so I have no issue increasing my original pledge by $10 in order to have access to it. Let's hope those pledges keep growing in this final week!
Creator Roq on May 15, 2012
@a - If you look at the amount that AE could possibly raise from this KS and appreciate that they have to use that not only to support the team, but for every other aspect of developing and releasing the product over the next at least six months until release, I think it's clear that the initial funds will not be being used to finance later expansions to the game (which is what AE really mean by DLC). Any expansions released will depend for their finance on the success of the base game and that will benefit all the pledgers.
Creator a on May 15, 2012
I'm with Conor Farrell in lacking enthusiasm over the "complete experience", which seems to me less about the soundtrack and box than about the inclusion of additional content that will only be included at a certain level (how much of everyone's funds will be used for the creation of this DLC?), though I certainly understand the move from the seller's point of view (and really, it is probably preferable to not having the option, as appears to probably be the case with some of the other recent Kickstarters (e.g., Shadowrun).
What concerns me more is the invention of tiers toward the end (though I also understand this choice, of course, from a sales perspective), not that it's wrong, per se, it just feels manipulative. That said, good luck Aterdux (I'm still curious about the availability of a map editor to those who provide less than $35).
Creator Aterdux Entertainment on May 15, 2012
We will post once a day I think the updates. For Russian, there is an automatic informer that is on our Russian page. Unfortunately, Paypal does not have it, so we will check every day and maybe post on that page.
Creator Thilo Bayer on May 15, 2012
Aterdux, how do you report about the progress of the alternative payments?
Creator Aterdux Entertainment on May 15, 2012
It's because there are three votes per person.
Creator Justin on May 15, 2012
I notice there are more votes than backers.
Creator Aterdux Entertainment on May 15, 2012
@Conor Farrell - we want to make our game as good as we can and implement as many of our stretch goals as possible. And we feel it's worth give everyone an option to have it along with the soundtrack at a later moment and still support our game.
@Roq thank you for giving 5 star rating to Discord Times :)
Creator Roq on May 15, 2012
I would urge you to look again at the music and art work that they show on the main page and ask yourself whether that is worth supporting. And if still in doubt look at their previous release "Discord Times" which is generally rated as a ***** download.
Creator Conor Farrell on May 15, 2012
I'm not really happy about the idea of having to pledge $35 to guarantee getting 'the full experience'. There have been a number of kickstarters I haven't supported just because they've decided to go with this sort of DLC model and seeing you guys adopt it makes me think twice about my pledge (which I see as a sort of pre-order/expression of interest, I'm not interested in soundtracks or collector's boxes) - once paid DLC comes into the picture it makes me feel like I could just as well wait for the 'game of the year'/'complete' version of the game and buy that.
Creator longbeach on May 15, 2012
Those extra goodies do make the Knight's Badge pledge a lot more inviting
Creator Cenk "Kyon" Aslan on May 15, 2012
I go with 35 $ now (before 15$) please add new playable characters :) male archer for main chracter especially :)
Creator a on May 15, 2012
So, does this mean a map editor (assuming that it will be forthcoming) will not be available (without increasing the pledge) for free to $15 and $25 backers? Also, is DLC definite in the future, or is it tentative (so that the only guaranteed additional reward for the $35 tier is the soundtrack)?
Creator Brian Watzig on May 15, 2012
lol yup, and if the rest of the $25 teir and the $15 teir raised we'd have almost $30,000 onto current total which would give us 2 of the stretch goals, which 2nd and 3d highest votes are 1 vote differerence.
Creator Aterdux Entertainment on May 15, 2012
There was no $35 reward before today. Maybe you caught it between the time we added a new reward and this update.
Creator Brian Watzig on May 15, 2012
lol n/m don't read to much into my question.. i forgot you posted on comments before you posted this update, lol i forgot i just upgraded to the higher pledge..
Creator Brian Watzig on May 15, 2012
im a little confused about what was added for the $35 pledge? that is the originally pledged (reward) i had chosen.
Creator Dirk Schlobinski on May 15, 2012
I'd guess because it can't hurt.
Even if only 20 ppl pledge for it, that will still raise the amount of money raised and the additional production cost should be minimal.
Creator Aterdux Entertainment on May 15, 2012
It's not a Collector's Edition Box, it's basically the same as $75 but signed and without adding 10000 as a stretch goal. It's much easier for us to produce.
Creator Joachim on May 15, 2012
Hm, I don't get it: why did you add the "$175 – Signed Limited Edition Box" when only 0,51% of backers wanted that option?
