Connected as Jamie Morris (338 friends)
I graduated from the University of California, Riverside and while producing local theatre projects I started playing with cameras and developed an interest in documentaries.
On the job training, if you will.
In 2002, I moved to Japan and shortly after began production on "Sayonara Speed Tribes," the first foreign treatment on the subject of Japan’s infamous motorcycle gangs, BOSOZOKU.
My articles have been published in magazines and I have had BOSO footage featured on my beloved BBC.
I can currently be tracked down running around the streets of Tokyo with a camera permanently attached to my right arm, or fighting the blurry eyes that come from editing for.... how many hours now?
I currently live and work in Japan but my heart is in the California desert somewhere.

will be sending out an update soon...trying to hold off this time until I have definite news of DVD printing.
Thanks for you patience...
So...whats the status of the DVD?
I went back to the drawing board Demon Slayer and the version us tip-top. Hold in there a bit longer....
How's this going?
Ever so close, Michael, thanks for your patience ALL. This my full time job! Once more to the breach!
So, what's the status?
Thanks Rob!
I know Jamie is keen to finish the documentry, but i'm sure we all understand that since the recent events in Japan, any delays can not be helped. Thankfully Jamie and his family are safe, and I hope this continues to remain so.
Cheers Luke give me a holla when you are coming!
Jamie
That's cool. thanks for the reply! I forgot I had asked and just became busy with some things, sorry! Perhaps we could meet when I am in Japan next. i think we may share common interests and goals ; )
Thanks for the support guys!
Luke, after I finish the "Sayonara Speed Tribes" I go after some funding for the Uyoku docu. If I am not successful, guess I will back with another KS project. I will be hitting that one up after a Theatre break producing my own play. I have lots of footage for Quiet and a concept but I need more..., perhaps 2012.
Hope that explains it...
Congratulations! Looking fwd to this and all the best with final productions! Btw when do you expect "A Quiet Revolution" to be completed?
