About this project
from the start i have been a NIKKI-POWERED machine. i am my own booking agent, tour manager, secretary, roadie, driver, & web mistress! because of this, my heart and soul go into every aspect of the Nik Tal Show! ;)
while these things are rewarding, NOTHING ELSE gives me more satisfaction than playing LIVE SHOWS. if you have ever seen one of my performances, you know my passion comes thru most in my LIVE SHOWS! i crave to reach larger audiences and share my art! at this point in my career i have been limited to regional touring due to lack of a dependable vehicle. with a little help from my friends...and family...and fans....and perfect strangers i will be able to spread my music all across the US in a trusty SAFE vehicle.
i'm asking for help with the down payment for a van & plan on more or less living out of this home-on-wheels and doing non-stop touring all over our beautiful country.
touring is an essential part of being a successful musician. allows me, to personally SHARE my music thru my live shows. what good is your art if you can't SHARE it with others!?
i am humbled for every step forward i've taken in following my heart, thanks to my family, friends & fans over the past 15 years...please help this dream become a reality! :)

Hardworking, energetic, mountain girl with a big voice…these could all describe Nikki Talley. Raised in North Carolina and hailing from Asheville, it’s only fitting that her music is as eclectic as the state that boasts the mountains and the sea. Trying to pin down Nikki’s style, critics and reviewers alike have compared her to an early Liz Phair and Gillian Welch, but to leave the comparisons there would be doing a disservice to her fiery stage performance, hauntingly seductive and raw gritty lyrics, lifted by a voice that harkens back to the Appalachian roots from which she was born, and shores up on the edges of contemporary southern rock, country, blues, and jazz that has her audiences stomping and clapping for more.
