Stretch Goal: Straps! ($100,000)

Once we reach $100,000, backers will have the option to add $35 to their pledge to get one of these additional straps with their order.

We have 9 unique watch designs in our collection. We live in Manhattan, right on the Hudson River, and we couldn't help but be inspired by our favorite city. Each design is inspired by (and named after) a different New York City street. 

We have our prototypes and packaging ready for production; we have a website in the works, and we are here on kickstarter to raise money for our first order.

Our watches will retail for around $300 each, but you can get them here for $225. Your pledges will help us launch our brand- we really appreciate your help!

How We Got Started --This project really started about a year and a half ago when my wife and I noticed it was very difficult to find great-looking, high quality men’s watches for under $500. We found ourselves talking about watches a lot, and pretty soon we started designing our own for fun. With my longtime interest in collecting watches, and my wife’s degree in studio art, we have come up with some really unique designs that we are excited to share.

We started by sketching our ideas and then applied our experience with graphic design to develop illustrations.

After we created our illustrations, we started to build our specifications for each design and researched the best manufacturers that could help us bring them to life.

Today, we have built relationships with each manufacturer and collaborated to create each prototype based on our specifications.

Our Collection -- We've created a diverse collection of watches. In my opinion, the days of wearing just one watch are over, so we designed watches that can be worn a variety of different ways. We like to wear each watch with several different interchangeable bands, and this option is available to you in most of our reward packages as well. 

Quality -- High quality was of utmost importance when we set out to create our watches. We’ve spent the last year and a half learning everything we can about watch-making, and selecting the best parts and suppliers we can find. Our watches use ETA Swiss movements, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lenses, surgical-grade stainless steel cases, and are water resistant to 150 feet.

Packaging -- Packaging is finalized and ready to be ordered. Our watches will come in a navy blue case, inside a white box. The white box has a vintage map of NYC printed inside.

Now for the watches...

Three of our watches offer a more classic look: Sutton Place, Delancey Street and Front Street (in both Silver and Black).These three designs are extremely versatile, offering a different feel with each different strap. Each is inspired by the street it’s named after, but the versatility of all three reflect the diversity of the neighborhoods they represent.

Berry Street and Cranberry Street are named after two of our favorite streets in Brooklyn. From vintage stores to world-famous flea markets, we love that our favorite Brooklyn spots have such respect for the past, so we designed these two watches based off of vintage stopwatches.

Milligan Place is a tiny street in the West Village, tucked away from the hustle and bustle behind a locked gate. The mystery and exclusivity of this tiny street right in the middle of our favorite neighborhood for nightlife, inspired this dark, polished watch, which we love with a stainless steel band.

If any of you are cigar fans, Charlton Street may seem familiar to you.The face on this watch is inspired by cigar humidor dials.A few blocks in any direction from Charlton Street will land you in the West Village, TriBeCa or SoHo- three of our favorite neighborhoods, which all inspired the overall design of this watch which we think looks polished and truly unique. 

Fulton Street was once in the center of New York’s bustling shipping industry. This watch is inspired by ship telegraph dials on old steam ships that used to frequent New York harbor. These ship telegraphs were used to communicate from the deck to the engine room how fast or slow they needed to go. We loved the unique look and decided to make a watch based on these dials.

Additional Rewards (Straps and Hats)

Below are our strap options. Each strap option pictured below can come in 18mm or 20mm (width), and Regular or Long (length). If we exceed our fundraising goal, we will offer additional straps as stretch goal rewards.
