I just received my game and it's VERY well made. I showed it off to my local BG shop owner and he loved it and placed an order for a few copies. Great job!

I got mine today with the black respectful visit tokens and a separate bag of extras.
I had to dig thru the ghost poop to find them.

@William, they should indeed have come with black respectful visit tokens, likely in a baggie accompanying your other Kickstarter promo tokens. At least, they did with my order.

Got my game in yesterday and have to say thank you for the high quality! The figs could have done for a bit stronger molds, but otherwise it is great. And the best thing about it is the slit on the side of the box to easily allow you to get the boards out of the box, god I wish this was on all my other board game boxes!

It is kind of weird. Looking at the backers list, you (Crash Games) are pretty early in the list, and you're in the US, while Malte is near the end of the list and in Germany. I've asked Keith to give us some info on shipping, so maybe he'll clarify.

      Hello!

I received my copy of Zong Shi today and I'm very disappointed. In the box are NO CARDS. No scrolls of fortune cards, no masterworks project cards, no project cards. Just nothing. The only cards I got are the special Kickstarter cards shipped outside the game box.

I really hope that I will get the cards as fast as possible because I really really want to play my first round of Zong Shi after I waited so long to get my game to Germany.

      Best regards

      Malte

Can't wait for the game. Just had a quick question. I'm interested in Road to Canterbury, so i was wondering when we'll be receiving the money for the website?

Thanks Jeremy. We just got to see an advance production copy of the game. I think everyone will be very happy with how Zong Shi came out. It is really beautiful. Thank you all again for the awesome support!

      Dear Zong Shi backers--

We do plan to print the black visit tokens and give out the $20 coupons as well. We really appreciate the support you have all given us for Zong Shi on Kickstarter. The game will be printed and packaged up by the middle of January. We expect it to be shipped before the end of January and we hope to receive it in the US by (or before) the 10th of March if all goes well.

We should soon be receiving a production sample of the game (our first glimpse of the completely finished game!) and we will share pictures of that with you here on the Kickstarter site ASAP (hopefully within a few days).

Thanks again for your generous help in making the production of this great game possible--Keith on behalf of the entire Gryphon Games team

Coming up this short should really allow us to get the reward anyway. Its an amazing total for the amount needed.

      Hi Matt--

The black master and apprentice do not come with black tokens. So players must choose between playing black and grey; and when they choose to play black they will then use the grey visit tokens. Thanks for your interest in Zong Shi.

This looks really exciting! I've just read through the rules, and I have one little clarification to request: If a player builds 2 temple offerings, can that player hold a maximum of 5 or 6 scrolls?

Yes, yes, yes! Looks wonderful! I proudly back this game and am now very sad that I have no powers over time and space so I can get this game on the table right now!

Out of high school, Keith joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the northern most capital in the world, the southernmost capital in the western hemisphere, and in a location where he watched the sun rise on the Pacific Ocean and set on the Atlantic Ocean. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University (Gig ‘Em Ags). As an engineer, Keith worked in the circuit protection and wireless industries.

In addition to his Marine Corps experience, Keith has coached Kung Fu and has worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, where he presented a decision-making methodology he developed with one of his professors. Currently Keith is working in two dream jobs, one as the Managing Director of Gryphon Games and Eagle Games, and the other as a GMAT instructor for Manhattan GMAT. His biggest teaching responsibility arrived September 20th, 2003, when his wife Pam gave birth to their first child, Logan Alexander.
