      Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the suggestion. Based on our testing, the dice work very well.

Have you considered using a component like the wheels in Pirate's cove instead of dice? I think dice would not be the best way to make the slicing decision.

      Hi James,

As long as you are just making a copy for yourself, then this is fine. Hopefully it is popular enough that you can get a group of several (4 or more) people to order the game and then you will be able to get free international shipping. As to the rules question, please go to the Boardgamegeek.com site for Pizza Theory http://boardgamegeek.com/forums/thing/99808/pizza-theory. The designers can answer your question directly and this serves as a better venue for rules questions than Kickstarter (as this project will execute and the page will eventually go dormant). Thank you for your interest in the game!

      Keith

I am backing this because I love simple boardgame, and also, who doesn't love pizza? I only chip in $1 because the international shipping fee is almost the same as the physical game. However I read through the rules and made a hand-made version by scrapping pieces and parts for my other hand-craft boardgame. So far I've only played with myself, but I hope it will get some play in the weekend. A few rule question: 1.For 2-player game, when adding un-use player topping, does it needs to be a space always from its own topping? the rule doesn't specific that. 2. if two players runs out of topping at the same time, who wins?

      Hello Sean-

The game will have "real packaging." The white corrugated cardboard background will be printed on. We were originally going to do a pizza box, but as you said, they don't hold up as well.

sean tompkins on November 7, 2011

I'm in - looks like a great game. One question - will the packaging for this be an actual pizza box? I've gotten a few games before that were packaged like this, and they don't hold up well... My request is "real" packaging.

      Hi Craig,

Yes, the Anchovy components will be the same quality as the rest of the game.

Will the production quality of the advance Anchovies components be the same as the rest of the game? Is the only thing "test" about it just the rules?

Out of high school, Keith joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the northern most capital in the world, the southernmost capital in the western hemisphere, and in a location where he watched the sun rise on the Pacific Ocean and set on the Atlantic Ocean. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University (Gig ‘Em Ags). As an engineer, Keith worked in the circuit protection and wireless industries.

In addition to his Marine Corps experience, Keith has coached Kung Fu and has worked as a teaching assistant at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, where he presented a decision-making methodology he developed with one of his professors. Currently Keith is working in two dream jobs, one as the Managing Director of Gryphon Games and Eagle Games, and the other as a GMAT instructor for Manhattan GMAT. His biggest teaching responsibility arrived September 20th, 2003, when his wife Pam gave birth to their first child, Logan Alexander.
