Kickstarter

Virtually all games for Kickstarter Backers are shipping out today (11/14) and tomorrow (11/15)!  They are mostly going out in US Postal Service Medium Flat Rate boxes.  The USPS tells us to tell you to allow 5 to 7 business days for shipping.  So that's what we are telling you.  As to international shipping,  these are going out as well, but clearly we have no control over shipping time for these parcels and we are at the mercy of the various postal services involved, but what we can tell you is that they will go out by the end of the day tomorrow.

Hi Fantastiqa backers--

We are in the midst of final preparations for the huge annual games fair in Essen, Germany.  But I wanted to assure you, before I leave for Germany at the end of next week, that the factory has assured us that we are on schedule. The games are in the final stages of packaging now and the ship is scheduled to leave by October 15 for the US.  All of the information  contained in Update #10 is still accurate.  We expect to get surveys out to you in the first 7-10 days of November and you should have your game in hand by November 20.

We will get our first peek at the game when we receive 12 of them in Essen by airfreight on October 17 and we are very excited to see the final product ourselves!

Hi Backers--

As of now, it looks like the FANTASTIQA game will be printed, packaged and put on a container headed to our warehouse in the US by/around October 15.  Which means that we hope to begin shipping it out to you, our fantastic Fantastiqa Backers, as soon as it arrives in our warehouse. We assume that this will be between November 15 and 20. You will be the first people to get this game shipped to them -- and this will happen as soon as it arrives in our warehouse.  We will send out a Survey to you in early November to obtain your most recent address information to help minimize shipping issues.

This schedule should allow us to airfreight a limited number of copies to Europe -- just in time for the Essen, Germany Spiel event (October 18-21).  Those of you who have backed us on Kickstarter and paid the $25 for European shipping can come to our booth (#10-53 at Essen) and receive a $10 refund (it will cost us about $15 per game to airfreight them in bulk) and a $10 coupon for use in credit at our booth--where we will have a large selection of Eagle and Gryphon Games for sale.  BUT you must let us know that you want to do this within the next two weeks--not later than September 15--by emailing me at ricks@eagle-gryphon.com.

We can also airfreight over a VERY limited number of additional base games and expansions to Essen. So if you are in Europe, and attending the Essen fair, and you want to pre-order additional copies of the base game (not the Kickstarter edition) for $65; and the two expansions (shown on Kickstarter) for a combined $12 and pay $15 for shipping (the airfreight cost to Essen)--a total of $92--paid into our PayPal account at joannes@freddistribution.com by September 15,  you will be able to pick up that reserved, pre-ordered game from us at our Essen booth (#10-53).   Please make this deposit into the PayPal account (as indicated above) and email me at ricks@eagle-gryphon.com to confirm your interest and intention by September 15.
