Phillip -- thanks for your kind words -- I'm delighted that you are enjoying Fantastiqa so much! In answer to your question, with the Bent Pentacle card, YES, you do draw from the CREATURE Deck. If an Event card ever comes up (ever, any time during the game) resolve it immediately, and then draw again until you draw an actual Creature.
As for expansions, I have several more in the works! Actually having these produced will depend on consumer response to the game, though -- so the more that people like you spread the word about Fantastiqa, the better chances there will be of these coming out! :)
Much appreciated.

thanks I love the game and it has been the most played game on our board game club.. would like to know if and more expansions are plained? and one question on the wording of a card. the Bent Pentacle card states "Draw one card from the Creature Deck and put it in your Discard Pile!" question is was it meant to draw from the Beast Bazaar and not the Creature Desk? If the deck is correct than what happens if an event card is drawen?

hi guys... so I'm in Ireland and my copy has not yet arrived. There are always delays when stuff is shipping from the US but in my experience this is taking longer than usual. I'm wondering should I start to worry?

Got mine in the post today. Very much looking forward to playing when I get the chance.
Creator Gryphon and Eagle Games on November 17, 2012
I'm happy to see that some of you have received your copies already!
Yes--bonus rewards and expansions are combined with the rest of the game inside the game box. The game's insert was specially designed to accommodate these extra components.
Thanks! I hope you have fun playing!

Creator Gryphon and Eagle Games on August 10, 2012
Thank you, Christian! German board games are what first inspired me as a designer (and continue to do so), so I'm very happy to know that Fantastiqa will be played in Germany itself. Have fun!
Creator Christian Kusch on August 10, 2012
Gratz from Germany too your Campaign... Looking forward of playing (exploring) Fantastica :-)

So Kickstarter has a seconds countdown that goes live at the last minute of the game! It's cool! Glad we got funded!
Creator Ian Perley on August 9, 2012
Whoo! Congratulations on getting funded! And for making all the stretch goals as well. Super excited to get this game in my hands and see it in action! ^_^
Creator Gryphon and Eagle Games on August 9, 2012
Thank you for these kind words, Isaac! It's great to see that we've made all five Stretch Goals.
Yes: I think Fantastiqa will look very good. The digital proofs look excellent, and from what I've seen of the design for the custom box insert, etc., it's going to be quite beautiful and elegant, both inside and out. Huge thanks to you and other backers for your support!

Congrats on hitting the latest stretch goal and for a successful campaign! I can't wait to get Fantasiqa on my shelf - I think it might rival Road to Canterbury and the most beautiful game in my collection :)
Creator Gryphon and Eagle Games on August 7, 2012
Hi Evan,
The cards in Fantastiqa will be easy to sleeve. They are standard Poker size: 2.5" x 3.5".
Thanks for inquiring,
--Alf, Designer of Fantastiqa, on behalf of Gryphon Games
Creator Evan Dunn on August 7, 2012
What size cards will be in this set? I was sad that Road to Canterbury had an unsleevable card size, even though the card texture was beautiful.
Creator Gryphon and Eagle Games on August 6, 2012
Keith, in the base game there are over 240 cards in total. To give you an idea of card diversity, the game includes 12 different Artifact cards (24 total, plus 5 starting cards), 9 of each Beast card (27 total), 36 Quest cards (each with unique flavor text, showing one of six different Regions, plus 9 starting Quests), 78 Creature cards (18 different Creature types, plus a handful of Mischievous Ravens), and each player starts with 9 different Adventurer cards (showing one's own Adventurer and the card's unique ability). There are also a handful of miscellaneous cards such as Quest Goal cards and Player Reference cards. In short, there many, many different types of card included in the game.
In addition to all of these, all Kickstarter backers at level 2 and up will receive the two Kickstarter exclusive bonus card sets (3 cards in each) plus all the cards for the attained Stretch Goals, which makes for 20+ new cards and several extra card types in the game.
Thanks for your interest, Keith! You can visit the official website at http://www.fantastiqa.com for a link to the rulebook for more details.

How many cards in the base set? How many different cards in the base set(since I assume that there will be multiples copies of the same card)?
Creator Gryphon and Eagle Games on August 3, 2012
Hi Robert--
We have been planning the production for this game for some time now. So we expect, barring anything unforeseen at present, to be printed and packaged up in early October. Shipping can be a bit unpredictable but we should be shipping by mid-October and therefore we should have the game available for sending out to Kickstarter Backers by the middle of November. So we might miss the month of October by two weeks but as of now we expect that it should be no worse than that.

Creator Robert Hill on August 3, 2012
REALLY looking forward to the game!!!
I was looking at the est. delivery of october and thought that seemed like a VERY quick turn around for a kickstarter project.
Do you really think you can get it to the backers in October??
Creator Gryphon and Eagle Games on July 29, 2012
Hi Chris--probably not, but I'll let you know if that changes. Thanks!

Congratulations! The first stretch goal has been met!
now we must stay the glare of wayward beasts,
mincing among unruly artifacts that whisper the way towards misplaced quests
...stretching our reach to fortunes ahead.
